Two more finishes...

I'm so happy to say I sqeeked out two more finishes last night!  I've stitched my first Christmas ornament of the year.  It turned out a little bigger than I'd intended, so I'll probably use it as a door knob decoration once it's Completed.  It was also a milestone for me--my first experience with Beading.  Only 6 total and I managed just fine. I don't think I'm quite ready to tackle that Mirabella in my stash just yet though!

Lizzie * Kate Quick-it

My second finish you'll just have to be in suspense over :D.  It's for an exchange and will be mailing out this week.  Once she received it, i'll add a pic.

I will however share a pic of a former UFO & current WIP.  It's a tea towel for my best friends birthday.  I changed the colors to match her kitchen; however I'm having a bit a trouble.  The Cup is DMC 920 with 632 outer ring & 3863 inner ring.  I need one more even lighter color for the center circle and can't quite come up with the right combo.  Anybody care to offer a  "best color"?

I look forward to hearing from you and your color ideas!  Happy Sunday and Happy Stitching!  =)

  1. Your LK looks great! The coffee cup looks good. I'd have to pull threads to find a lighter color.
